The Municipal Council for Sports is once again organising a football tournament, the 2008/9 event starting on Monday November 17th.
Entries need to be submitted at the Giner de los Rios Cultural Centre in calle Diputación. The entry fee is €7.65 per player for members, €8.70 for non-members and a list of players plus their DNI details needs to be presented. Teams are limited to two federated players.
Past winners of the tournament have been:

- Capy’sport (2000/01).
- Fontanería Manolo y Paco (2001/02).
- Púb. Obelix (2002/03).
- C. Saborito (2003/04).
- At. Carabeo (2004/05).
- Restaurante La Forja (2005/06).
- Restaurante La Forja (2006/07).
- Cafetería Jeyma (2007/08).
