A 24 year old man died after an accident at an abandoned mine near Villaviciosa, Córdoba.
Two people had entered the old mine ‘Cerro Vértice’, apparently in search of minerals, when part of the gallery collapsed. The other man, who could do nothing to save the life of his companion, managed to get out and call the Emergency Services.
