Note: The Traffic Conference in English due to take place on November 26th at the Nerja Cultural Centre in calle Granada has been changed to Wednesday December 3rd at 12:00.
Reminder: Car Entrance Tax for 2006 (still behind but catching up) has to be paid by January 9th 2009. Anyone with a garage, garage entrance or gate allowing the entrance/access of a vehicle must pay this tax. Bills for 2007 and 2008 will be sent out in a few months time as the catch-up continues.
If you have not received the invoice by post, you should collect it at the Nerja Tax Office (Patronato de Recaudación) in calle Cristo number 14 (near the Post Office).
Note: If you are disposing of any old furniture which is in good conditions, you can give it to the charity Cudeca, the Cancer Care Association. They will collect the furniture from your house and take it to their charity shop. Please phone Tony on 661 826 654.
Reminder: The mobile ITV (MOT) unit for scooters (up to 50cc) will be at the Sunday Market site from November 18th to November 21st from 09:30 to 14:30 and from 16:00 to 17:00.
Remember to take the relevant documents for the vehicle and go early as there are always queues and it’s all done on a first come, first served basis..
