A 31 year old man in Valencia has been detained as the alleged killer of his parents, with whom he had been living.
At o7:15 yesterday morning, police received a call to say that the door of a house in calle del Pare Presentat was open and that inside there was a pool of blood. Police went to investigate and found the bodies of two people, a 65 year old man and a 67 year old woman.
At almost the same time, another report came in saying that there was a half naked man, covered in blood, wandering around Los Anzuelos, close to where the bodies were discovered. The man, who turned out to be the son of the dead couple, was arrested.
It is thought that the man first killed his father, using a baseball bat, and then killed his mother, crushing her head with a television set.
