A 40 year old man was found dead on the third floor of a building in calle Montera de Vélez, Vélez-Málaga, on Sunday. He had apparently entered the building with another person for the purpose of consuming drugs.
Residents spotted the two men, one of whom appeared to be unconscious, on the third floor landing and notified the police. Efforts were made to resuscitate the man but it was not possible and he died.
An autopsy is being carried out but, as there were no signs of violence, the preliminary conclusion is that the man died from an overdose of drugs.
