The Guardia Civil has found the body of 38 year old Carmelo M.D., the man thought to be responsible for the murder of his wife.
The body of Juana Maria M.D. was found at her home in Rociana del Condado, Huelva. She had been strangled.
A police dog located the body in a well near Rociana del Condado. The well is about five metres deep and filled with water. There were apparently no signs of violence on the body of Carmelo M.D., which has led police to believe that he took his own life. An autopsy will be held to determine the precise cause of death.
The couple had two children, aged 9 years and 7 years.
