A busy time for the rescue services this weekend. A family of four had to be rescued from their car after it stalled on the Carril de los Chopos near Churriana where it crosses the Rio Guadalhorce.
The water reached the height of the seats and the occupants were unable to open either the doors or windows. The driver called the Emergency Services and between them, the Local Police, Guardia Civil and Fire Brigade were able to rescue the family from their predicament.
