A teacher at the Juan de Orea school in Roquetas de Mar has been arrested on charges of sexually harassing nine children aged 8 and 9 years.
Parents of the pupils made a denuncia after noticing a change in behaviour and attitude of both the teacher and the children. According to statements made by the children, the teacher would ‘massage’ their backs and legs during class.
The teacher has refused to make a statement to the Guardia Civil and is due to appear in court shortly.
