The construction of a new ‘changer’ at Alcolea, in Córdoba, will cut the traveling time by train between Jaén and Sevilla by twenty-eight minutes, making it a two-and-a-half hour journey.
The traveling time to Cádiz has also been reduced to four hours and ten minutes.
The new ‘changer’, which comes into operation on April 28th, allows conventional trains to use the AVE lines by adjusting the wheelbase.
