A 57 year old hiker died on Sunday morning while out walking in El Torcal, Antequera.The man was walking near Nacimiento de la Villa in the foothills of El Torcal when he fainted and failed to regain consciousness. His fellow hikers managed to get him to the Emergency Services centre in Antequera but there was nothing anyone could do for the man.
An autopsy is being carried out to determine the cause of death which, a this moment, is unknown.
