Apparently, the outbreak of swine flu should be renamed ‘Mexican’ influenza in deference to Muslim and Jewish sensitivities over pork, according to an Israeli health official.
Swine Flu – Swine Influenza – Swine Influenza Virus (SIV), is endemic to pigs, not Mexicans. Get a grip. Use that energy to stop the spread of the disease rather than debate a politically correct, but inaccurate, name for it.
