Five illegal immigrants in a small rubber dinghy were intercepted on Tuesday afternoon after being spotted by a ship travelling through the Straits of Gibraltar.
The five passengers, who had inadvertantly forgotten to bring any documents with them, were transported to Tarifa where they were treated for mild hyperthermia.
All five hail from the Cameroon and are now in detention awaiting the resolution of their administrative status in Spain.
