One person died after a fishing boat overturned in the Bay of Málaga. Three other people were rescued by the Marine Rescue Service.
The incident occurred at 12:40 on Thursday about seven miles off the coast near the La Araña cement factory. Bathers in the area witnessed the incident and notified the authorities. The Marine Rescue Service picked up the three survivors and then, at around 15:00, located the body of the fourth crew member.
The three survivors were taken to the Port of Málaga where the Red Cross and Emergency Services were on hand to offer assistance. The three men had not suffered any serious injuries.
