An investigation into the desecration of niches at a cemetery in Benalmádena has resulted in the detention of a Cuban national.
Police believe the man, who is a practitioner of the Caribbean-based religion ‘Santeria’, is thought to have removed skulls and other bones in order to carry out voodoo rituals.
The police have not yet managed to recover the remains.
