The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has placed Sevilla and Córdoba on ‘yellow alert’ for temperatures of 40 degrees or more.
The alert runs from 13:00 to 21:00, with the highest temperatures expected to be in country areas in these two provinces. Temperatures in Huelva are expected to reach around 38 degrees today.
