Local singer Antonio Cortés has once again donated his prize money to a local charitable organisation.
Two months ago, Antonio Cortés won the Canal Sur competition ‘Esta canción va por ti’ and donated his prize to the Sisters of the Good Samaritan for work on the future residential care centre.
Last Saturday, Cortés was once again a winner and this time he has donated his prize to the Taller de Amistad, a local organisation working with people with disabilities. The Taller de Amistad was founded in 1996.
Yesterday, Antonio Cortés handed a cheque for €1,000 to the president of the association, Cristina Fernández.
