A small armada of boats carrying unwanted North African visitors has arrived off the coast of Almería in the past twenty-four hours.
Five boats have been intercepted in the area off Cabo de Gata in Almería carrying a total of 79 passengers. The new arrivals are 70 men, 5 women and 4 minors.
Once on dry land, the visitors were met by the Immediate Response Team (ERIES) of the Red Cross. All the passengers were said to be in good health and are now awaiting further processing and repatriation to their own country.
