Police in Sevilla are investigating an incident in which the driver of a van claims that shots were fired at his vehicle as he drove through the Sur industrial estate in the city.
Police officers intercepted a van traveling at high speed and the driver then claimed that shots had been fired at his vehicle as he drove through the city. The driver belongs to an ethnic gypsy family who were forced to leave the Poligono Sur area as they feared reprisals relating to the death of a child in a shootout a few months ago.
Forensic experts are examining the van and the police investigation is ongoing.
