On Thursday, some fishermen spotted the body of a woman floating in the water about four miles southwest of Faro de Trafalgar, Cádiz.
The tugboat ‘Ibaizábal II’, which was in the area, went to recover the body and transported it to Barbate where it was handed over to the Guardia Civil.
It is widely thought that the woman was one of the passengers on the boat carrying illegal immigrants which sank near Barbate on June 29th. Eleven other people, including a child, died in the incident.
