A 26 year old Portuguese man has been arrested in Chozas de Canales, Toledo, in connection with the death of his former partner.
The man, who was the subject of a distancing order, was apparently waiting for the woman when she returned to a house in calle Magdalena. Following an argument, 33 year old Eva María R.C. was hit with a crystal vase, causing multiple wounds to her neck and face from which she later died.
The attack was witnessed by the victim’s six year old daughter, one of two children from a previous relationship. The alleged attacker, J.F.C.M., fled from the house and jumped over a wall and onto the street, his shirt covered in blood.
Local Police, alerted by neighbours, arrived on the scene and arrested J.F.C.M.
