Transportation figures for June 2009 show a general decline in passenger numbers when compared to the same month last year.
- Domestic flights: Down 9.2%
- AVE high-speed train: Down 8%
- Urban transport: Down 2.5%
- Metropolitan transport: Down 4.9%
- Shipping: Down 4.9%
- Local trains (narrow gauge): Up 1.3%
Bus travel in Andalucia was down by 1.7%. People are obviously staying at home more! Less holidays and no need to go out to work because they have no job!
