Three people have been arrested, one of them a police officer, in connection with the theft and subsequent sale of drugs stolen from Police Headquarters in Sevilla.
The theft took place on June 5th 2008 and involved drugs seized in police raids and stored at the headquarters in Sevilla. The police officer detained is a member of the Drugs and Organized Crime Unit (UDYCO) in Sevilla.
The police investigation is ongoing and further arrests have not been ruled out.
