A military logistics unit of 60 soldiers from the Brigada Rey Alfonso XIII has left for Afghanistan.
The troops, based at ‘Alvarez de Sotomayor’ in Viator, Almería, will relieve the Canary Islands contingent currently in Afghanistan. The troops will be stationed in Afghanistan for seven months and will be involved in training Afghan personnel.
