The new underground car park ‘El Chaparil’ was finally inaugurated last night at an opening ceremony attended by the Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo.
The car park, with 273 spaces on three floors, has been built at a cost of €3,000,176. The project has experienced a number of problems and delays from the onset and it was scheduled to be completed and in operation a couple of years ago.
However, at least it is finally open now! The talk now is of a third underground car park down near Burriana beach.
