Farmers in Huelva province have been experiencing an increase in thefts and the agricultural association ASAJA-Huelva has complained about the lack of security in rural areas.
The thefts from farms have not only been farm produce from the fields, but also tools and even expensive farm machinery.
Other provinces have also seen increased criminal activity in rural areas during the past couple of years.
