Some 435 pupils from eleven schools in Ronda have been taking part in a tree and shrub planting project, an event organised by the Junta de Andalucia and the Ministry of Public Works.
Over five hundred trees and shrubs have been planted in various locations, such as around the new (under construction) hospital and on the road connecting Ronda with San Pedro de Alcántara.
The students were also given information on the importance of reforestation and the need for environmental friendliness.
