A woman injured in a karting accident in Alcalá la Real, Jaén, on Saturday failed to recover from her injuries and has died at the Hospital Reina Sofía in Córdoba.
The woman, who was in her thirties, suffered serious neck injuries in the accident and was admitted to hospital in a very serious condition. It is thought that a scarf around her neck caused serious asphyxiation as it tightened at the time of the impact.
