The Councillor for Social Services, Angélica Portillo, has announced that €460,000 from the Plan Estatal para el Empleo y la Sostenibilidad Local is being allocated to a series of social, and in some cases, educational projects and programmes.
These programmes have been decided after studying data provided by the social workers in the municipality. The Councillor stated that the programmes would benefit many families.
Maybe a better idea might be to follow Alhaurin and provide incentives, reduced licence fees and tax breaks to encourage people to start up in business or to help them expand.
