A 21 year old Cuban national has been arrested in Huelva in connection with the death of a Colombian woman with whom he had been living.
The woman was found in the courtyard of a house in calle Federico Molina in the Isla Chica area of the city. She had fallen from the fifth floor of the block.
During the morning, the police received a report of a body in the courtyard. Two hours earlier, the mother of the detainee had gone to the police station to report the woman as ‘missing’, saying that her son had searched for her in vain and feared that she might be dead.
Police put two and two together and the son, initials R.M.T., was arrested on suspicion of murder.
