The Cuban writer Alexis Díaz Pimienta presents the reissue of his book ‘En Almería casi nunca llueve’ (In Almeria it almost never rains) on Friday February 5th at the Sala Mercado in Nerja.
The book of poems won the Premio Internacional Surcos in 1996.
Alexis Díaz Pimienta was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1966 and now resides with his family in Aguadulce, Almería. To date he has published 21 books in different genres; poetry, short stories, children’s books, essays and novels and his works include Huitzel y Quetzal, Robinson Crusoe vuelve a salvarse, Los visitantes del sábado, Cuarto de mala música, Pasajero de tránsito, La sexta cara del dado and Prisionero del agua.
The author will read extracts from some of his works. The presentation begins at 20:00.
