The Guardia Civil have arrested six people in Málaga who were part of a gang planning two ‘express kidnappings’ along the Costa del Sol.
After learning of the plot to kidnap two young businessmen along the coast the police had to move quickly as the gang was fully prepared and ready to carry out their task.
In raids, police seized four pistols and equipment for tracking vehicles. The businessmen concerned have been informed of the gang’s plans.
Five of the six detainees are now in jail, the sixth was released after being charged.
