Snow, rain and winds have been causing problems throughout the Iberian peninsular and the bad weather is set to continue.
In Andalucia, Huelva, Sevilla, Cádiz and parts of Málaga province, particularly the Costa del Sol, are on ‘yellow alert’ today for heavy rains.
Flooding, landslides and evacuations from homes have been commonplace in many parts of Andalucia during the past week as rivers have been bursting their banks. As a precautionary measure, several reservoirs are draining off some of the reserves of water in order to prevent possible flooding if the expected rains are heavy.
