Police in Fuengirola are searching those responsible for the death yesterday of a 17 year old youth who received several stab wounds to the chest.
The incident took place yesterday evening in the parque del Rosario in Los Boliches. Local residents called the Emergency Services to report a fight and that one of the youths had suffered serious stab wounds to the chest. Given the severity of the injuries, the locals took the youth by car to the local Health Centre rather than wait for the ambulance but there was nothing the medical staff could do to save his life.
This is the second fatal stabbing incident amongst youths in Fuengirola in the past few months, the last one occurring on October 31st 2009. On that occasion, a fight on the Camino de Los Almendrales ended up with one youth, also 17 years of age, dying from his wounds.
