A lorry driver died yesterday morning in Villabona, Guipuzcoa, after the vehicle left the road, overturned and then caught fire.
The incident occurred at 09:40 on the N-1 and the vehicle ended up on the rail tracks near the road, forcing the closure of one lane of the N-1, direction Irun, and the suspension of the train service.
The driver was trapped inside the cab of the lorry and had to be cut free by firefighters.
