In the latest and ongoing investigation into drugs smuggling in Andalucia, police have detained a total of 32 people and seized about 8,600 kilos of hashish.
The network introduced drugs into Spain along the entire length of the coast from Huelva to Almeria and the investigation, which began last July, involved the cooperation of a number of agencies including the Inland Revenue.
Amongst those arrested was the head of the organisation and in addition to the drugs, police seized four boats, 15 vehicles, almost 100 mobile phones, €14,500 in cash and masses of documentation.
