The Ministry of Industry is proposing a 10% increase in access electricity tariffs in July for households and small businesses, a 5% increase for medium-scale industry and 0% for large consumers.
This proposal could add 4% to the TUR – Tariff of Last Resort – which is used by 26.8 million people in Spain. In addition, and also in July, IVA (VAT) on electricity will rise from 16% to 18%.
