The underground carp park El Pontil in Torrox Pueblo is now finished and is set to be inaugurated in the coming weeks.
The car park, the second underground facility in the town, was started by the previous PSOE administration but was halted after the funds ran out. A €600,000 grant from the provincial government enabled work to restart,
The new facility has 278 spaces on three floors, with 200 of the spaces going on sale shortly. The remaining 78 spaces will be available in rotation for visitors to the town.
