A 20 year old youth has spent the night in the cells after being arrested in connection with the stabbing of Mercedes T.C. at her home in calle Cal y Canto, Guillén Moreno, Cádiz.
Mercedes T.C., a 55 year old retired nurse, was found dead on the floor of her apartment by family members. She had been stabbed thirty times. Her husband, who was away in Madrid visiting a sick family member, raised the alarm after being unable to contact his wife.
The apartment was in disarray but it is not yet known if anything was taken.
