A 26 year old worker who was seriously injured in an accident last week in Jaén has died in hospital.
The accident occurred on an industrial estate in Guadiel de Guarromán, Jaén, and the man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries from which he eventually succumbed.
The death is not counted as an industrial fatality as it did not occur on the way to or from work or during working time.
There have been 3,666 industrial accidents, mostly non-serious, in Andalucia in the first half of 2010, up 4% on last year.
