Within a few months, the old N-340, now renamed Avenida del Mediterráneo, will not be the only link between population centres in Torre de Benagalbón and Rincón de la Victoria.
The beams are currently being put in place for a 30 metre long bridge over the río Granadillas. This will connect the urbanisations of Cotomar (Rincón de la Victoria) and Lo Cea (Torre del Benagalbón).
The project is costing €530.048.52 and the work is being carried out by Veganarcea S.A.
