Trade associations in Vélez-Málaga and Torre del Mar have denounced as ‘alarming’ an increase in the number of illegal, unlicensed vendors and stalls in the area around the promenade.
The associations say there are at least thirty such unlicensed stalls. The Council replied that they are trying to combat the problem but it is actually no worse than in many other towns along the coast.
