On Saturday lunchtime, a farmer from Colomera, Granada province, discovered the body of a 62 year old man who had gone missing in Atarfe at the end of July.
The body was found at finca La Fabriquilla in Colomera, about five kilometres from the urbanisation where the missing man was last seen.
The man, who suffered from diabetes, was out walking with his brother-in law. Later, the brother-in-law returned home to prepare a meal, leaving his companion to continue his walk. That was the last time anyone saw him.
Although there were no visible signs of violence, an autopsy is being carried out to ascertain the exact cause of death.
