The Real Feria de Agosto in Antequera begins on August 17th and continues until August 22nd and, despite the financial crisis, there has been no skimping on the celebrations with a number of star acts line up.
August 17 – Pregón by Rosa Miranda (21:00)
August 19 – Performance by the comic Manu Sánchez.
August 20 – Concert by ‘Los Chichos’.
August 21 – Concert by ‘Los Deliqüentes.
August 22 – ‘Suspiros de Copla’.
There will also be displays of the art of bullfighting with the likes of Julio Aparicio, Morante de la Puebla, José María Manzanares, El Cid, El Fandi, Sebastián Castella, Andy Cartagena, Diego Ventura and Joao Moura.
