In the second similar incident within two days in Estepona, a 40 year old Cuban national was arrested and charged with indecent exposure and assault on a beach in the municipality.
The man was reported to the police by a bather on the beach. The bather stated that he berated the man for his indecent actions in front of a group of children only to have a stone hurled at him.
A National Police officer in civilian clothes went to the beach to investigate. After identifying himself as a police officer, the suspect allegedly became violent, injuring the officer.
The Cuban man was eventually subdued, arrested and charged with indecent exposure and assaulting an officer of the law.
