Two women are in a serious condition in hospital after an explosion this morning at the Cortijo Blanco in calle Antonio Machado in San Pedro Alcántara.
At 09:35 this morning, a boiler water pipe exploded and injured three people, one of whom had only minor injuries and was treated and then discharged from hospital.
One of the victims, a women staying at the hotel, suffered first and second degree burns to 20% of her body, most of the damage being to her chest and arms. She is currently on a ventilator at the Carlos Haya hospital in Málaga.
