Local Police in Vélez-Málaga have arrested a 47-year-old man for allegedly attacking and threatening to kill his 82-year-old mother.
A police patrol found the woman crying on the street and she said that her son, who lives on the same floor in the building, was very upset and aggressive and had started to smash her belongings. She said he had also sent her a message saying that he was going to kill her.
Police entered the building where they found the woman’s apartment, located in calle Acera de la Marina, to be in a right mess. The officers found 47-year-old J.F.D.J. on the landing with the wreckage of a sewing machine and a drill next to him.
When the woman was brought back into the building, the son tried on several occasions to strike her and was duly arrested.
