A 30-year-old man detained in connection with the dismembered body of an American woman found in the rio Guadalquivir in Sevilla has confessed to killing the woman and throwing her body into the river.
The woman, a 49-year-old American national, was reported missing on September 4th and her dismembered body was subsequently found in a suitcase and a bag in the rio Guadalquivir on Tuesday.
The detainee is currently in police custody awaiting a court appearance.
