A 75-year-old man and his 49-year-old daughter died on Sunday as the result of a fire at their home in the cerro del Castillo area of Medina Sidonia, C.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found three smouldering fires in one of the rooms. The Local Police had already gained entry to the building.
Interim reports suggest that the two people died as a result of smoke inhalation, the room having been filled with thick, black smoke.
