At 01:00 on Wednesday morning, Local Police in Jerez de la Frontera came across a vehicle on the roundabout in Paseo de las Delicias with the driver still inside the car.
Sensing that the driver was intoxicated, the police urged him to submit to a breathalyzer and it registered 1.33 grams per litre of blood, the legal maximum being 0.25 grams per litre.
The driver was arrested and his vehicle was towed to the municipal garage.
