Two Guardia Civil officers are amongst hundreds of people arrested or charged following raids by National Police officers in connection with child pornography on the internet.
One Guardia Civil officer in northern Spain was arrested and one in Cáceres was charged. One Local Police officer in Andalucia has been charged and another in Álava has been arrested.
Around 400 National Police officers took part in raids on 97 homes, leading to 57 being arested and a further 47 charged in connection with child pornography. The raids were carried out with the co-operation of some 70 police courts and court officials.
